Personally, I like to believe everything happens for a reason. I guess I could say I do believe in fate and destiny, but only to a certain extent. I find it's sometimes difficult to believe "everything happens for a reason", especially when the situation is dyer and the outlook seems grim.
In some cases, we don't have any control over situations that take place in our lives, such as a death. Certain events happen in a instant, and when we look back and what happened, at times we'll regret what occured. I often find myself doing something, which at the time I dont realize the outcome it'll bring, and regretting the aftermath of the event. Personally, I find myself to be extremely indecisive, constantly questioning a choice I have to make. I'd like to control the outcome of my descisions, but in most cases I have no control over what occurs and try to convince myself: whatever is taking place is happening for a reason.
What happens in our lives are heavily influenced by the people around us, our atmosphere, and the final choice we make. As individuals, we have the final say in decisions we make, and can influence our lives by the choices we make and the setting we create and allow to be created around us.
